Fed: Qantas makes unexpected toilet stop in Adelaide overnight

There's no end in sight to the woes affecting Qantas .. with reports a flight from
Sydney to Perth has had to make an unscheduled stop in Adelaide overnight .. to clean
its toilets.

Fairfax websites report the flight staff have told passengers on board the fully laden
737-300 .. the toilets hadn't been emptied after its last trip from Honolulu.

Qantas says with four of the seven toilets out of action after just one hour into the
flight .. the decision was made to divert to Adelaide so they could be serviced.

It comes just hours after Qantas had to delay a flight from London to Sydney for more
than 12 hours due to a rudder problem.

The airline has been dealing with several maintenance problems .. beginning with an
explosion that tore a hole in the side of a flight from Hong Kong to Melbourne on July
25.
