VIC:Perth woman dies in Vic crash
MELBOURNE, April 26 AAP - A Perth woman has died in a crash between a truck and a car
in Victoria's southeast, becoming the fourth fatality on the state's roads during the
public holiday long weekend.
The vehicles crashed on the Princes Highway at Drouin about 6.55pm (AEST) on Tuesday,
an Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said.
Police said the woman, aged in her 70s, had been travelling in the back seat of a Ford
station wagon driven by a 17-year-old female learner driver.
The driver and two other passengers, a 45-year-old woman and a 72-year-old woman, have
been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The 50-year-old Drouin man driving the B-Double truck was not hurt.
The crash is being investigated by police and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
