Vic: Jackson to stand down from accident commission
Victoria's Transport Accident Commission chairman MARGARET JACKSON is to retire after
more than eight years at the helm of the road safety body.
Her retirement is effective from June 2001.
Ms JACKSON, who is also the chairman of Qantas and a director of ANZ, says she's proud
of the role the commission has played in raising awareness of road safety and reducing
the number of fatal accidents on the state's roads.
